Umang Boards Pvt. Ltd. Has installed a latest high technique and fully computerised modern plant for manufacturing high quality Electrical Grade Insulation Pre-Compressed Press Boards made from imported sulphate softwood pulp.

Umang Boards produces different grades of Press Boards (Pressboards) conforming to different specifications of Bureau of Indian Standards and International Standards, viz., IEC 60641-3-1 (B-3.1), JIS C 2305, DIN 7733, BS 231-1975 & IS - 1576 _ 1992.

In India the company caters to the requirements of manufacturers of transformers of all sizes and sophistication. The continuous improvements in product technology have enabled Umang Boards to secure a substantial share of the market.

The Company also offers Press Boards to the overseas transformer manufacturers conforming to a wide variety of Internationl Standards viz. IEC, DIN, JIS and BS. Umang Boards uses the most efficient operating system and follows strict quality control in the selection of softwood pulp, water and other raw materials.

At Umang Boards we possess The Most qualified and experienced technical team who produces international quality Press Boards.
Umang Boards manufactures Press Boards in sheet form and also a wide range of special components suited to specific Insulation requirements of customers.

The company has a well equipped test laboratory which controls quality parameters both in the production process and in the finished product. Lastly, final inspection by the Quality Control Department is done prior to despatch.

We are presently the only company in India with the capability to produce non-metallic particle Press Boards, and further more, our Press Board length is in Machine Direction which gives our Press Board extra strength for Strips, Spacers and other Components used in transformers.

Pre-compressed Press Board : Pre-compressed Press Board is used mainly in Power & Distribution Transformers to provide electrical insulation. It is used in the form of sheets, machined components and molded components in cylinders and caps ; as runners and wedges ; as spacers and duct strips ; as angle rings and cap rings, etc.
